Introduction
An art project designed by Laurence Dube-Rushby
AUGUSTA OPEN SPACE will offer a programme of art activities across the estate up to the 31st of May.
The aim is to engage a wide range of residents to create new connections within the estate, strengthen existing ones, create a sense of place and history, as well as find out what would make Augusta Park a vibrant community.
“Contemporary art usually requires you to think, to reflect, to place yourself into the position of asking questions” Gill Nicol (a-n)
During the project, we are inviting all residents to consider how art might enhance the life at Augusta Park, enrich the community and help create a sense of place. The project will help define what you want from two public art works which will be commissioned for your estate.
